It is nearly a year since Station Rd was flooded, why is it that the Petite Salon has not yet been repaired?, all the other Church owned buildings have been completely refurbished, what has the proprietor of this small business done to be discriminated against in this way?. I think that the owner of this business has been treated in a most despicable manner, and that the trustees of these buildings should liven themselves up and get the job done, the building looks a disgrace Who will give me odds on it being repaired before 2002?,furthemore who will take my bet?.

Hi Webmaster,
In 1956 I left Rossett I lived in the Butchers Arms I was in the Scouts I was with George Probin before he went to hospital on November 5th.
Now living overseas I am looking at making contact if possible with anyone that remembers my name. I remember ===John Rich=Mike Jones = Mair Jones=George Edge=Frank Bretherton=Pauline Jackson=Bill Price= Jennifer Walsh
When at school we had Harry Costain as the teacher a Mr Parry
How age dulls the memory, can you assist in any way.
I was a paper boy also a Saturday boy at the Butchers
Regards

My great-grandfather, William Crewe, was born in Harwoods Lane in 1862. Can anyone tell me anything about the Crewe family in Rossett?

Hello Webmaster !
Just a short note to congratulate you on a job well done in providing this site which I only found by chance. I typed in 'Rossett' as a search recently not really expecting to get any response and lo and behold 'Rossett OnLine'
I have already responded to a couple of letters in your Guest Book as I remember the writers well and hope that the site will result in many of our generation who have not 'kept in touch' now making contact (if only by e-mail).
I lived in Rossett all my life from 1943 to 1970 when I moved to Crewe where I still live so I have many memories of Rossett from about 1950 to 1970. If you need any information concerning the village and its residents for that period just let me know - I might be able to help.
Regards,

As a former resident of Rossett from 1957 to 1978 I found this very interesting. I was also very impressed by the photographs.

I have recently discovered pen & ink drawings of The Old Mill Rossett by a local artist in Acton Gardens Wrexham dated 1941. Could this be of any interest to anybody concerned with this guest book site?

Cool site, I like it. I live on Harwoods lane, and been living in Rossett for nearly all my life, but then, my life is only 16 years old! I like it, thats why i'm still here! That, and because my parents don't wanna move. Anyway, if anyone is actually reading this, i'm probably boring you, so, See Ya! Matt
