Rossett Station Scene circa 1960
Glyn Roberts sent the railway photos with the following comments:

The railway photos, which were taken early 1960's at a guess, are not that clear, having been taken with a very simple camera at the time. However I think will be of interest.

.... The third photo depicts a wintry scene and was taken near the old Rossett North signal box which is visible on the right of the photo. Note also the public footbridge which is still in existence and can be seen clearly from the new by-pass. Today the bridge seems unduly long to span just one line but originally it spanned five lines as the picture shows.
